"Sunflower" by Jazz Ton (2015) @ 古坑民宿「田心12號」 Sweet House No.12

It was our pleasure to invite Jazz Ton, the Malaysia Artist, to Sweet House No.12 again to create another big wall painting on the back of the main house. This time he used visual trick to paint a giant sunflower. It is amazingly beautiful. Come and see by yourself!

馬來西亞藝術家Jazz Ton於2015年3月二度來台，為田心12號民宿帶來視覺錯位藝術創作【向日葵】。熱情奔放的向日葵在藍天白雲下，讓人一看就心情愉悅！

2013 Taiwan Coffee Festival 台灣咖啡節

2013台灣咖啡節11月2日至24日（每週六、日）於古坑華山、荷苞盛大舉行，藉由專業解說讓您瞭解「咖啡的一生」及親自體驗「咖啡烘子」及「天神之液」，享受健康咖啡的樂趣，咖啡大街上可欣賞街頭藝人表演及街頭塗鴉等裝置藝術，參加咖啡角落佈置競賽投票還可摸彩抽ipad mini，另在荷苞工作站將介紹咖啡、珈琲、加非的故事！活動期間還有免費接駁專車，歡迎闔家蒞臨！

Two Taiwanese girls are traveling by sharing their own created music for room & board around the island. They compose music for local and share it to next town. Come and listen to what they have seen and felt with simply a guitar, a djembe and their pure vocal!!

兩個女生帶著一卡木箱鼓、一把吉他，用音樂、繪畫、行動、歌聲換宿環島。她們倆每到一個地方駐足就用創作(音樂、繪畫、行動...)分享，也透過在地的感受再創作，並分享給下一個地方。於2012年12月從台北出發，以順時針路線開始環島，在2013/5/13抵達雲林，停駐藝術民宿「田心12號」兩晚。歡迎你一起來聽她們用音樂訴說這塊土地上的故事！

"Sweethearts" by Monique Yim (2013) @ 古坑民宿「田心12號」 Sweet House No.12

"Sweet House No.12" was so honored to invite Artist, Monique Yim from Hong Kong, to resident for art creation. She fully applied local resource to create her work by collecting cobbles in village and painting the things she experienced here. Due to enjoying Taiwan very much, she had extended her flight twice to finish her job and celebrate both Christmas and New Year of 2013 with us!!

(Note:Those cobbles were picked by those senior farmers from river bank. In old time, they used big ones to be the washboard to wash clothes on, and small ones to squeeze out the water for making pickled vegetables.

「田心12號」很榮幸邀請到香港藝術家MoniqueYim(嚴穎嘉)來到雲林古坑駐村。她就地取材、揉合在這裡感受到的美好事物，為我們民宿周邊彩繪石頭，創作出可愛的裝置藝術。Monique在12月中抵台，原訂停留一週，因為太喜歡台灣的人情味，不止延長過聖誕節，還與我們一起跨了2013的新年呢！

(註：過去農民會至河邊撿拾鵝卵石回來，大的當作洗衣板，小的則用來製作醬菜時，壓在包覆醬菜的布包上，將水分擠出。)

"I Miss U" Roof Party 星光天台音樂酒聚 (古坑民宿田心12號 Sweet House No.12)

和朋友們辦了十多年的派對，在鄉下地方舉辦還是頭一遭。原本只是單純為了小妹Fyn準備一場同學會，意外地在籌備的過程中，規模越來越大。最大的因素是屋頂天台並沒有水電，因此必須想辦法接出來，而既然骨架都有了，那就熱鬧一點吧！(笑)

非常感謝各界好友的情義相挺，從台北、高雄、台中等地前來支援與共襄盛舉。最大的幕後功臣是謝小寶，整整花了五個日夜的時間，憑藉她的專業知識與技術，幫我們接出了水電，也張羅了PA設備。有水，就能有吧台酒水；有電，就能有燈光音響。為了豐富活動內容，特別邀請到台北DJ Fokker的精彩打碟、雲科大熾舞社的火舞表演，以及美國吉他手Scott McHugh的不插電演唱。

I have thrown parties with my friends over a decade, but this was my very first time having one outside of a city. Beginning was simply a college reunion for Fyn, the scale just went bigger in preparation progress. The main reason was no water and power supply on the roof, so we had to do some construction to get them. And since there would be water and power, why not go bigger!

Super thanks to friends coming from Taipei, Kaohsiung and Taichung to help and support. Huge thanks to Xiao-Bow who took 5 days and nights to connect water and power up to roof, and also help on sound effect arrangement. With water, we could have a bar; with power, we could have lights and speakers. In order to make an appealing show, we had invited DJ Fokker from Taipei, Fire Dance Club from Yunlin University, and Scott McHugh for unplugged concert.

活動前的一週受到氣候影響，每天都滴滴答答下個不停，為了趕工程進度，小寶還得冒著生命危險在雨中接電。幸好老天疼憨人，在活動當日賞了一個好天氣，晚上還有皎潔的明月和清澈的星光，讓所有來賓都非常盡興！

It has rained for a week before the event day, even Xiao-Bow had to risk her life to connect power in the rain. Fortunately we were so blessed to have a good weather on that day, the moon and stars also showed up at the night, that really made everyone enjoyed the best time ever.

民國101年10月12日(農曆八月廿七)午時，是開市的良辰吉時，在此昭告各位，古坑民宿「田心12號」正式開張啦！ Today, Oct 12th, 2012, is Aug 27th in Lunar calendar. According to Lunar calendar, this is a good day to grandly open a business! "Sweet House No.12", the finest B&B in Gukeng, Yunlin, is official opening today! 

我們準備了豐盛的祭品祭拜五路財神，告知我們民宿生意正式開張，希望保佑我們生意興隆！ 我和爸媽都虔誠地祈禱著，請求五路財神、諸天護法，及土地神祇都能保佑我們。We prepared a feast to treat God of Five-Way Wealth to bless our new B&B business. My parents and I were all praying sincerely. 

鞭炮越大大聲，名氣越響亮！開市祭典圓滿結束，田心12號正式營運！The louder sound, the better luck. Sweet House No.12 is now officially in business!

∞ (Angel Lin, 2012) @ 古坑民宿「田心12號」 Sweet House No.12

This documentary film recorded Angel Lin as our first resident artist working here in Sweet House No.12, the finest B&B in Gukeng, Yunlin. She took bus from Taipei to Yunlin every weekend to create, it took totally 10 weekends to complete this 16M long wall paint. Here is the documentary film of her project "∞". 

這支短片紀錄了古坑民宿「田心12號」第一位駐村藝術家Angel Lin，以驚人意志力利用每個週休二日搭乘巴士來回台北雲林。這幅全長16公尺圍牆壁畫耗時10個週末完成，作品名「∞」。 — at 田心12號 Sweet House No.12

Harem (Jazz Ton, 2012) @ 古坑民宿「田心12號」 Sweet House No.12

This documentary film recorded Malaysia artist Jazz Ton who flew all the way to Taiwan to create his art work on our wall of side house of Sweet House No.12, the finest B&B in Gukeng, Yunlin. It took him exactly 7 days to complete this beautiful "Harem". 

這支紀錄短片是馬來西亞藝術家Jazz Ton特別搭飛機來台灣，進駐田心村，為古坑民宿「田心12號」所創作，歷時整整7天完成此巨幅壁畫作品「Harem」。

Mid-Autumn Festival 中秋節田心村烤肉 (古坑民宿「田心12號」 Sweet House No.12)

用仙女棒寫「田心12號」的 "No.12"

2012年的中秋節，對古坑民宿「田心12號」來說是一個非常特別的日子。Today is a very special day to Sweet House No.12, the finest B&B in Gukeng, Yunlin.

• 第一次在田心村參加全村中秋烤肉晚會。FIRST TIME participated the whole village BBQ party.
• 第一組日本旅客入住「田心12號」。FIRST Japanese guests checked in.
• 也就是「田心12號」試營運的開始。Which means our first business of soft-opening.
• 第一位駐村藝術家Angel Lin完成全長16M的圍牆壁畫。FIRST resident artist, Angel Lin, had accomplished her 16M long wall painting.
• 第一位海外藝術家Jazz Ton完成邊屋外牆壁畫。FIRST foreign artist, Jazz Ton, had finished his giant wall painting of side house.

是結束，也是開始。It's a ending, and yet a beginning.

全村封街烤肉，盡頭還有搭設舞台車表演節目！生平第一次參加這麼盛大的烤肉！我們這桌有美國人、日本人、馬來西亞人，是個小聯合國！The whole village blocked street to BBQ altogether. The biggest BBQ party I have participated ever!!
