老吳牛肉麵 Lau-Wu Beef Noodle Shop

老吳牛肉麵創立於1980年，採用台灣土產牛肉，經過爆炒、宏超、悶煮，湯頭以牛肉、牛大骨、蔥、薑、天然中藥材，細火慢熬而成，加入特製家常細麵條，湯濃味美，營養豐富。曾獲斗六特色美食獎、台北國際牛肉麵節雙料大獎，及各大媒體、美食節目、旅遊雜誌等採訪推薦。

Lau-Wu Beef Boodle Shop has been serving the community since 1980. Their dishes feature only the finest Taiwan-raised beef, which they first quick fry and stew in soy sauce before braising. The soup base combines beef, marrow-bones, spring onions, ginger, and Chinese herbs. Adding their homemade noodle gives the perfect finish to their signature beef noodle dish. Wu's Beef Noodle is the recipient of a Douliu Special Cuisine Award and a 2-time award winner at the Taipei International Beef Noodle Festival. They have been featured on a number of national TV shows and magazines.

他們的牛肉麵大碗又便宜，百元有找、內牛滿麵，吃到最後一口還是有牛肉。小菜也好吃的不得了，是一家CP值非常高的牛肉麵店。（我曾有幸吃過台北一家一碗5000元的牛肉麵，大概是自己命賤，味蕾並不具備精密分析儀，真心覺得老吳已經好吃得嚇嚇叫！）

他在斗六有兩三家分店，我常去吃的是雲林溪美食廣場（又稱「么鬼街」）裡面那間。這裡方便好停車，用餐後可向店家索取停車券，可省下一小時停車費！（雖然一小時也才10元）XD

樺鄉咖啡莊園 Hua Xiang Cafe

樺鄉咖啡莊園一直是我們田心12號的私房景點，來住宿的旅客如果想到山上走走+喝杯好咖啡，我們一定推薦這裡。樺鄉成立於民國88年，是由一對年輕小夫妻返鄉創立的。除了自己栽種咖啡，莊園裡的木造景觀都是由咖啡先生一木一釘打造起來，處處可見小倆口的用心。在這裡除了簡單的人口，他們還收編了許多可愛的流浪小動物(貓貓狗狗天竺鼠...之類)，讓整個莊園充滿生氣。也建置了一條咖啡走廊，讓客人可以透過說明了解咖啡的生態。

莊園裡每個設施都經過精心設計，同時備有免費無線上網，並附上QR條碼，隨時可以探索每個作品的故事。室內到處點綴著他們旅行時一路蒐集的小玩意兒，每樣都值得細細欣賞。夫妻倆非常同心協力，只為了把最好喝的咖啡，好吃的餐點和最美麗的風景帶給大家。不過由於人手有限，為了維護優良的服務品質，去之前最好先打個電話確認；有時候客人太多需要等待，也請務必體諒包容，因為小小的等候絕對是值得的。

Hua Xing Cafe is always our favorite place to go, and we certainly do introduce our guests to visit there for great mountain view and decent coffee. It was established in 1999, hosted by a lovely young couple who returned to hometown to start their newlywed life. Besides growing and baking their own coffee, the whole restaurant is also built by their bare hands. All the carpentry works are delicately done by Mr. Coffee. They also take care of many stray animals, a dog and several cats and guinea pigs, the garden is full of vitality. They built a coffee aisle with illustration to introduce the life circle of coffee which is very educational.

Every facility is carefully designed and installed. They offer free wifi and  set QR code everywhere for you to explore the story behind. Inner decor is full of cute and special souvenirs collected from their trips. The husband and wife work hard together only to bring the best coffee, food and significant view for you. Please do call in advance before visiting, they have few staff and sometimes require waiting. But trust me, it is worth to wait.

樟湖生態國民中小學 Jhanghu Ecological Junior High and Elementary School

原本的樟湖國小因莫拉克風災危害，校門口因溪流向源侵蝕而崩塌，學校被判定為危險校舍，只好易地重建，為了找尋安全無虞的地點興建是了不少時間和精神。最後由張榮發基金會認養異地重建的學校，不但讓新校舍順利重建完善。更體恤位處偏鄉地區的小朋友求學不易，又加碼增設國中部，成為台灣第一所九年一貫制的公立森林中小學。

樟湖生態中小學的另一頭，可見整片茶園，有著U字形彎曲一路綿延，此刻，只想品味一杯綠茶，茶園盡頭有條小徑，一直往上可抵達丞豐養生農莊，但是禁止進入茶農小徑喔，以免影響茶農作業，請由丞豐養生農莊進入，從丞豐的觀景平台，登高望遠景致超級棒，可由樟湖生態中小學前方馬路開車右轉上山，這樣走起來也比較舒適喔。

Jhanghu is the first public educational institution of its kind Taiwanwide. Established as an elementary school in the village of the same name in a mountainous part of Gukeng, the institution was forced to relocate to a new site 5 kilometers away after Typhoon Morakot lashed Taiwan in August 2009.

Construction on the new school, which ran from July 2012 to September 2013, included the addition of a junior high section. The project was made possible with NT$171 million (US$570,000) in funding from Taipei City-based Chang Yung-fa Foundation.

Although the campus measures 2.78 hectares, only 9,000 square meters were utilized, Chen said, adding that its 10 buildings are smaller than those of other schools. Each classroom can accommodate 20 students at most.

Gukeng Happy Bus Timetable 古坑鄉幸福巴士時刻表

103年雲林縣幸福專車為免費公車，庄內庄外『趴趴走』，滿足就醫、訪友及交通接駁需要，彌補公車不足缺憾。古坑地區許多村落至今仍無公車到達，有幸福專車，彌補公共運輸不足，提供貼心接駁服務，方便鄉親「趴趴走」。雲林縣幸福專車試辦鄉鎮有古坑、虎尾、林內及大埤，全年不打烊，行駛路線為定點上車、不定點下車，方便民眾搭乘，民眾若有搭車問題，請洽古坑鄉公所社會課(05-5826320)，公所會熱誠為鄉親服務。

行啟紀念‧公民會館 Crown Prince Memorial Hall

斗六市「行啟紀念館」的設立，源自日治時期裕仁皇太子(後來的昭和天皇)「台灣行啟紀念」的事宜。日本天皇巡視稱做「行幸」，而由皇太子、皇后等其他人巡視稱做「行啟」。「斗六行啟紀念館」建於昭和2年（1927年），為當時地方仕紳吳克明發起與地方鄉親捐款、官方共同集資興建而成。雖然當時有很多行啟紀念館，但是斗六行啟紀念館使用上卻不同其他行啟紀念館的展示功能，而是成為公共機能的「公會堂」作用，主要做為民眾慶典集會活動、技藝、學術、宗教等綜合用途。

Douliu City's Crown Prince Memorial HAll was built as a place for Japan's then- Crown Prince, and soon-to-be Emperor, Hirohito (Showa) to rest and receive visitors during his 12-day tour of Emperor's Taiwan colony in 1923. It is similar to a number of other finely constructed buildings around Taiwan built for the same purpose. Japan governed Taiwan from from 1895-1945. Hirohito served as Japan's Emperor from 1926 until his death in 1989.

行啟紀念館窗型均採大面積的長條窗，通風與採光極佳（另一種說法是，其作用可監控與防止抗日的不法集會）。而磚砌的窗台，均砌成防雨水侵入的設計，是十分精巧的工法。「斗六行啟紀念館」-日治時期正名為「記念公館」（“記念”為日文，同華文「紀念」）。館身建築為「一」字型，格局簡單方正，中間主入口為二樓洋館，左右翼為日本間所構成。平面採左長右短的不對稱配置，左右翼屋頂採高挑式，為典型集會用途的設計。

中央主樓為鬼瓦屋頂形式採四披水，左右翼則採三披水。屋後仍保留「軍公教福利品中心」時期搭蓋採光罩做為通廊，使全館動線便捷。

蜜蜂故事館 Honey Museum

「蜜蜂故事館」創立於民國九十五年，三代養蜂已超過七十年的專業經驗，在台灣以及泰國都有自己的養蜂場，為目前亞洲最大的蜂農。蜜蜂故事館位於雲林縣古坑鄉的綠色隧道入口處，來這裡先在綠色隧道散散步，感受綠油油的樹木，再進去參觀蜜蜂故事館。

館裡面有詳細的介紹、還有許多大型的蜜蜂模型以及影片簡介故事館，在商品販售區可以購買到各式各樣蜂蜜製成的商品，像蜂蜜禮盒，可以帶回家送禮自用兩相宜，走到館外，戶外的餐飲販售區還可以吃到特製的蜂蜜冰淇淋，冰冰涼涼又甜蜜蜜的口味，給人幸福的感覺，而在故事館外尚有一大片草地，可供孩子們玩耍，走到蜜源區有蜂巢箱養殖可看，旁邊是三好米休閒園區，外頭有一大片遊樂園，擺了無數小朋友投幣可乘坐的遊樂器材、投籃機等等。此地適合全家出遊帶孩子來個戶外教學，增加親子互動，也可以讓生活在都市的孩子，貼近大自然。

蜂蜜故事館在各大城市都有分館，常常可以在各大商場看到他們的產品，作得滿有質感的，即使沒辦法本人來到古坑也可以買得到。經過攤位的時候，販售的小姐會很熱情的請遊客試吃蜂蜜和花粉，因為蜂蜜自古就是溫熱的食品,，花粉可以逐漸改善體質，對於補氣與滋養都有幫助。

Honey Museum was established in 2006. The owner now is the 3rd-generation beekeeper and head of an operation that stretches back to 70 years. They run apiaries in Taiwan and Thailand, and now run the largest beekeeping apiary in Asia. Honey Museum is situated right by the Gukeng Green Tunnel. It is easy to spot with a huge bee model above the entrance of the museum. It was founded by Mr. Cheng Ci who developed it based on the aspects of nature, recreation, culture, education and ecology. There is a wide range of honey products available here and many interactive activities, such as honey tasting, Do-It-Yourself honey making, talks on honey manufacturing and its products. This is a family-friendly destination and definitely an enriching way learn more about what goes into your honey!

斗六人文夜市 Douliu Night Market

斗六人文觀光夜市位於人文公園旁，也就是雲林科技大學正門對面，過了一片綠地就是。它是斗六最大最新的夜市，容納1200個攤位，旁邊還規劃了200坪停車場。這裡不只賣小吃，衣服、飾品、用品、雜貨、大人玩的、小孩玩的，什麼想的到想不到的都有賣，吃的東西當然也包羅萬象什麼都有，愛逛夜市的人一定樂在其中，以下有照片為證！這裡雖然是一大片廣場，但是攤位都有規劃整齊排列，一排排逛絕對不會亂掉。

除了台中逢甲、台南花園夜市之外規模一樣驚人的雲林斗六人文夜市，跟北部最大不同在於南部夜市充滿熱情活力，同時又有更多樣性以及更多的創意攤位。不過週六才會擺滿，週二大約只有1/3的規模。如果是安排週末來斗六的話，非常值得一去！

Renwen Park Night Market, hereafter simply Douliu Night Market, is a large-scale open air night market in the style of the excellent Huayuan and Dadong night markets in Tainan. According to Wikipedia it occupies 3000 píng (approximately 10,000 m²), the same as Huayuan Night Market. Not only food stands, here sells so many different items you can think of. Snack foods, cuisines, beverages, games, clothes, shoes, housewares, even books! (see photo below)

When the night market dissolves there is nothing more than an enormous vacant lot in this space. The transience of such open air night markets is part of the appeal for me. So much human energy is invested in what takes place here. It located in the southwest corner of town, opposite to the Yunlin Tech Univ., next to the Renwen Park. It only opens on Saturday nights.

綠色隧道 Gukeng Green Tunnel

穿梭在著名的綠色遂道理，兩旁有種植50年以上的芒果樹相伴，慢慢踩著單車，享受綠蔭蔽天的涼爽舒適，感受慢活的自在幸福。景觀公園旁有沿著隧道而行的台糖小火車，不論鐵軌、車站或車廂都是相當獨特的空間，因此古坑鄉公所計畫將景觀與小火車結合，規劃為民眾結婚場所以及文化景觀公園，讓公園、隧道、鐵道三者結合起來，成為最有情調及特色的「蘭樹大道」(即老芒果樹上植有各式各樣粉白相間的蘭花)。

Gukeng Green Tunnel is shaded along both flanks by stands of half-century-old mango trees. It is an ideal place to enjoy a relaxed walk or bicycle ride and contemplate on life's beauty. A historic TaiSugar rail line runs adjacent to Gukeng Green Tunnel, adding additional incentive to visit and explore the area. Trace the narrow gauge tracks, explore the old engines and sugarcane railway cars, and soak up the atmosphere of bygone days when sugar was "king" of Taiwan agriculture. The Gukeng Village Administration plans to run the whole area into an integrated recreation and leisure destination for family outings, weddings and other occasions.
