老吳牛肉麵 Lau-Wu Beef Noodle Shop

老吳牛肉麵創立於1980年，採用台灣土產牛肉，經過爆炒、宏超、悶煮，湯頭以牛肉、牛大骨、蔥、薑、天然中藥材，細火慢熬而成，加入特製家常細麵條，湯濃味美，營養豐富。曾獲斗六特色美食獎、台北國際牛肉麵節雙料大獎，及各大媒體、美食節目、旅遊雜誌等採訪推薦。

Lau-Wu Beef Boodle Shop has been serving the community since 1980. Their dishes feature only the finest Taiwan-raised beef, which they first quick fry and stew in soy sauce before braising. The soup base combines beef, marrow-bones, spring onions, ginger, and Chinese herbs. Adding their homemade noodle gives the perfect finish to their signature beef noodle dish. Wu's Beef Noodle is the recipient of a Douliu Special Cuisine Award and a 2-time award winner at the Taipei International Beef Noodle Festival. They have been featured on a number of national TV shows and magazines.

他們的牛肉麵大碗又便宜，百元有找、內牛滿麵，吃到最後一口還是有牛肉。小菜也好吃的不得了，是一家CP值非常高的牛肉麵店。（我曾有幸吃過台北一家一碗5000元的牛肉麵，大概是自己命賤，味蕾並不具備精密分析儀，真心覺得老吳已經好吃得嚇嚇叫！）

他在斗六有兩三家分店，我常去吃的是雲林溪美食廣場（又稱「么鬼街」）裡面那間。這裡方便好停車，用餐後可向店家索取停車券，可省下一小時停車費！（雖然一小時也才10元）XD

樺鄉咖啡莊園 Hua Xiang Cafe

樺鄉咖啡莊園一直是我們田心12號的私房景點，來住宿的旅客如果想到山上走走+喝杯好咖啡，我們一定推薦這裡。樺鄉成立於民國88年，是由一對年輕小夫妻返鄉創立的。除了自己栽種咖啡，莊園裡的木造景觀都是由咖啡先生一木一釘打造起來，處處可見小倆口的用心。在這裡除了簡單的人口，他們還收編了許多可愛的流浪小動物(貓貓狗狗天竺鼠...之類)，讓整個莊園充滿生氣。也建置了一條咖啡走廊，讓客人可以透過說明了解咖啡的生態。

莊園裡每個設施都經過精心設計，同時備有免費無線上網，並附上QR條碼，隨時可以探索每個作品的故事。室內到處點綴著他們旅行時一路蒐集的小玩意兒，每樣都值得細細欣賞。夫妻倆非常同心協力，只為了把最好喝的咖啡，好吃的餐點和最美麗的風景帶給大家。不過由於人手有限，為了維護優良的服務品質，去之前最好先打個電話確認；有時候客人太多需要等待，也請務必體諒包容，因為小小的等候絕對是值得的。

Hua Xing Cafe is always our favorite place to go, and we certainly do introduce our guests to visit there for great mountain view and decent coffee. It was established in 1999, hosted by a lovely young couple who returned to hometown to start their newlywed life. Besides growing and baking their own coffee, the whole restaurant is also built by their bare hands. All the carpentry works are delicately done by Mr. Coffee. They also take care of many stray animals, a dog and several cats and guinea pigs, the garden is full of vitality. They built a coffee aisle with illustration to introduce the life circle of coffee which is very educational.

Every facility is carefully designed and installed. They offer free wifi and  set QR code everywhere for you to explore the story behind. Inner decor is full of cute and special souvenirs collected from their trips. The husband and wife work hard together only to bring the best coffee, food and significant view for you. Please do call in advance before visiting, they have few staff and sometimes require waiting. But trust me, it is worth to wait.

103年雲林縣幸福專車為免費公車，庄內庄外『趴趴走』，滿足就醫、訪友及交通接駁需要，彌補公車不足缺憾。古坑地區許多村落至今仍無公車到達，有幸福專車，彌補公共運輸不足，提供貼心接駁服務，方便鄉親「趴趴走」。雲林縣幸福專車試辦鄉鎮有古坑、虎尾、林內及大埤，全年不打烊，行駛路線為定點上車、不定點下車，方便民眾搭乘，民眾若有搭車問題，請洽古坑鄉公所社會課(05-5826320)，公所會熱誠為鄉親服務。

除了四處探險，你也可以很輕鬆的在民宿裡晃悠。民宿裡提供許多不同類型的書籍、漫畫、DVD影片、音樂CD，都可以隨意借閱，在任何角落享受愜意的時光。或者泡一杯咖啡，坐在前廊翹著腳，看藍天白雲，聽蟲鳴鳥叫；如果你喜歡音樂，還有一把吉他，想自娛娛人也行；假如你喜歡烹飪，也非常歡迎借用我們的廚房，小試身手一番；入夜後，可以提著民宿準備的蠟燭提燈上二樓天台，慵懶地賴在躺椅上，乘著涼風觀星賞月。

Besides exploring around the village, you can also enjoy your carefree leisure time. We provide various books, manga (comic books), DVD movies, music CDs, all available for spending time. Or you can make yourself a cup of coffee, sitting in the porch, watching the blue sky and listening to the birds singing. We also have a guitar for you to entertain. You are also very welcome to borrow our kitchen and show your talent. The most joyful thing is to bring up the lantern to rooftop in nights, lying on the long chair to enjoy the stars and moon in the cozy breeze.

"I Miss U" Roof Party 星光天台音樂酒聚 (古坑民宿田心12號 Sweet House No.12)

和朋友們辦了十多年的派對，在鄉下地方舉辦還是頭一遭。原本只是單純為了小妹Fyn準備一場同學會，意外地在籌備的過程中，規模越來越大。最大的因素是屋頂天台並沒有水電，因此必須想辦法接出來，而既然骨架都有了，那就熱鬧一點吧！(笑)

非常感謝各界好友的情義相挺，從台北、高雄、台中等地前來支援與共襄盛舉。最大的幕後功臣是謝小寶，整整花了五個日夜的時間，憑藉她的專業知識與技術，幫我們接出了水電，也張羅了PA設備。有水，就能有吧台酒水；有電，就能有燈光音響。為了豐富活動內容，特別邀請到台北DJ Fokker的精彩打碟、雲科大熾舞社的火舞表演，以及美國吉他手Scott McHugh的不插電演唱。

I have thrown parties with my friends over a decade, but this was my very first time having one outside of a city. Beginning was simply a college reunion for Fyn, the scale just went bigger in preparation progress. The main reason was no water and power supply on the roof, so we had to do some construction to get them. And since there would be water and power, why not go bigger!

Super thanks to friends coming from Taipei, Kaohsiung and Taichung to help and support. Huge thanks to Xiao-Bow who took 5 days and nights to connect water and power up to roof, and also help on sound effect arrangement. With water, we could have a bar; with power, we could have lights and speakers. In order to make an appealing show, we had invited DJ Fokker from Taipei, Fire Dance Club from Yunlin University, and Scott McHugh for unplugged concert.

活動前的一週受到氣候影響，每天都滴滴答答下個不停，為了趕工程進度，小寶還得冒著生命危險在雨中接電。幸好老天疼憨人，在活動當日賞了一個好天氣，晚上還有皎潔的明月和清澈的星光，讓所有來賓都非常盡興！

It has rained for a week before the event day, even Xiao-Bow had to risk her life to connect power in the rain. Fortunately we were so blessed to have a good weather on that day, the moon and stars also showed up at the night, that really made everyone enjoyed the best time ever.

2012年的中秋節，對古坑民宿「田心12號」來說是一個非常特別的日子。Today is a very special day to Sweet House No.12, the finest B&B in Gukeng, Yunlin.

• 第一次在田心村參加全村中秋烤肉晚會。FIRST TIME participated the whole village BBQ party.
• 第一組日本旅客入住「田心12號」。FIRST Japanese guests checked in.
• 也就是「田心12號」試營運的開始。Which means our first business of soft-opening.
• 第一位駐村藝術家Angel Lin完成全長16M的圍牆壁畫。FIRST resident artist, Angel Lin, had accomplished her 16M long wall painting.
• 第一位海外藝術家Jazz Ton完成邊屋外牆壁畫。FIRST foreign artist, Jazz Ton, had finished his giant wall painting of side house.

是結束，也是開始。It's a ending, and yet a beginning.

全村封街烤肉，盡頭還有搭設舞台車表演節目！生平第一次參加這麼盛大的烤肉！我們這桌有美國人、日本人、馬來西亞人，是個小聯合國！The whole village blocked street to BBQ altogether. The biggest BBQ party I have participated ever!!
